This group, formed in the fall of 2023, is led by Dr. Montgomery (Monk) Elmer and Josephine Muehl. Their focus is affordable housing in the Fox Valley. They hosted a Faith Communities Housing Summit in October 2024 to take action on the issue. While their longterm goal is permanent housing, they also established a fundraising goal of $20,000 for the Pillars Winter Shelter Overflow Program, and were thrilled to raise more than $30,000 for this critical need. They continue to mobilize for substantive action on housing.
