The Mental Health Task Force meets monthly. Our vision is to confront our fear of mental illness through faith, hope, and love to embrace all God’s people. We hope to accomplish this by finding ways to make our church a more welcoming and safer place for people with mental health conditions. We are also actively involved with both the local NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) as well as Samaritan to support them in the work they are doing in the community. Throughout 2024-2025, the Mental Health Task Force led our congregation through the process to become a WISE-Certified Congregation through the United Church of Christ.
