Sarah Wilterdink grew up in Sheboygan Falls, WI, with her parents and two brothers. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Silver Lake College before moving to Appleton with her husband, Eric. During her 22-year tenure as a teacher in the Appleton Area School District, she also earned a master’s degree from Cardinal Stritch College.

In 2015, Sarah, Eric, and their children, Kyle and Jeremiah, became members of FCUCC. She stepped into the role of Director for Children, Youth, and Family Ministries in 2022.

Sarah finds joy in every moment spent with children—whether parenting, foster parenting, teaching, or leading intergenerational activities. She feels most connected to God’s creation while walking in nature or gathering around a campfire.
